LOISD COVID Protocols
- It is recommended that staff and students wear masks, but this is NOT a requirement.
- Staff, students and parents are expected to self-screen each day prior to coming to school. See our self-screening guide here.
- If a staff member is determined to have had close contact with a lab-confirmed case of COVID-19, it is recommended to self-quarentine.
- Parents of students potentially exposed due to close contact with a positive case will have the option to quarantine their student, but the student will not be excluded from activities unless they are experiencing symptoms or test positive for COVID.
Please refer to the complete Safe Return to In-Person Instruction and Continuity of Services Plan for full details on how LOISD plans to keep our staff and students safe as we enter into the school year.
